Alejandro Aranda, known as Scary Pool Party, shared the spotlight with another local LA favorite, Lauren Ruth Ward, as the two are featured in new Gibson G-45 guitar advertisements.
The videos are designed to attract singer-songwriters to the Gibson acoustic.
Aranda is fresh off his stint on American Idol and is going on tour in the fall.

Lauren Ruth Ward, whose performances are reminiscent of a young Janis Joplin, brings it every time she hits the stage.
“I still feel like I’m 13 years old in my bedroom when I pick up an acoustic guitar,” Ward says in the ad. “Because that’s where it all began. It brings you back to who you are.”
