Traveling Wilburys-Style Song to Raise Money for Midnight Mission

A new Tom Petty tribute track, a cover of “For Real,” has been released by the sons of musicians with whom Petty worked.
Jakob Dylan, Dhani Harrison and Lukas and Micah Nelson join Amos Lee and Willie Nelson on the new collaboration “For Real – For Tom.” Petty worked with Bob Dylan and George Harrison in the Traveling Wilburys.
The new track is a cover of the newly released track on the Best of Everything album, a collection of Petty’s hits with The Heartbreakers and Mudcrutch.
The new cover,“For Real—For Tom,” premiered on SiriusXM’s Tom Petty Radio (ch. 31) yesterday, and is out now everywhere via Dark Horse Records.
All proceeds benefit the Los Angeles shelter The Midnight Mission https://www.midnightmission.org, which Petty supported the shelter during his career.
Midnight Mission is a homeless shelter and provides services in Los Angeles, it is an organization that was dear to Petty and which he supported throughout his career. The track is available here.
