The call for truth and the beauty of diversity drives Nth Power, the funky trio that plays The Mint tonight.
Comprised of Beyonce’s touring drummer Nikki Glaspie, bassist Nate Edgar of Groovechild, and Nick Cassarino of the Jennifer Hartswick Band and Big Daddy Kane, this trio brings their beliefs to the stage.

With three EPs under the collective belt, the East Coast-based band’s soul-jazz and funk flavor comes through. But so does the message in the music.
