Mötley Crüe founding member and drummer Tommy Lee is on the beat when it comes to the housing market.
Lee has listed the Calabasas, California, home he shares with bride Brittany Furlan Lee for $4.59 million. He purchased the home a decade ago for $5.85 million and put it on the market for the first time in 2016 for $5.9 million.
The 1987 home is set atop a hill and has city light views with an ample 9,991 square feet, six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
As might be expected, the home has a recording studio with isolation booths and a control room. A large central atrium with koi pond and palms grace the structure and interior rooms are large, open and airy. The retractable atrium roof allows sunlight to drift through the rooms and gives an abundance of fresh air as it drifts down from the hills.
The living room is spacious, and an intimate family room, perfect for lounging around a piano make this a place to spend great times. There is a formal dining room, a large chef’s kitchen and an office-library with a private terrace.
The master suite is on the main level and opens to the outdoor pool and spa terrace.
In addition to the recording studio, also on the lower level is a screening room with concession stand and a wine-tasting and dining room. The garage and storage space are also on the bottom level.
