Drummer Clem Burke of Blondie has joined the the Santa Barbara-based band The Tearaways and the band will head out on tour across the U.K.
Burke, the renowned Rock and Roll Hall of fame drummer joins singer songwriters John Finseth, Greg Brallier, John Ferriter and David Hekhouse. The band will be touring the UK in August and Sept. 1 and 2.
Also joining The Tearaways will be guest vocalist Dani Hagan, whose voice can also be heard on “The Wrecking Crew” and “Sweet Sounds of Summer.”
Supporting The Tearaways throughout the tour will be Ryan Hamilton and the Harlequin Ghosts, a Trans-Atlantic rock and roll band from Texas and the United Kingdom.
During their whirlwind lineup, The Tearaways will be performing at the historic 100 Club in London, Liverpool’s iconic International Beatles Weekend at The Cavern Club, Night ‘n’ Day in Manchester and will wrap on Sept. 2 at Glasgow’s world famous King Tut’s.
