The Kills will host special guest Saul Williams at their concert at The Regent Theater Monday, and the dynamic duo get support from local favorite Plague Vendor at The Glass House in Pomona on Tuesday night.

The anticipated — and sold out — shows precede Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince’s supporting gig for Interpol on Oct. 4 at The Hollywood Bowl.

The Kills’ most recent album was the great Ash & Ice, released in 2016, which spawned the singles “Doing It To Death” and “Heart Of A Dog”. The band toured the album for 18 months performing at multiple festivals, including Coachella and David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption.

The Kills Tour and Do Late Night

The Kills also performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show with James Corden and Conan. They appeared in the recent Nashville episode of the beloved Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown on CNN, in which Alison toured Nashville with Bourdain before the band played a song live for a scene in the show.

For their latest turn, the band covered Williams‘ “List of Demands (Reparations)” to create a  Kills-style, modernesque take on Williams’ famous tune. On the flip side The Kills cover the Peter Tosh song “Steppin Razor.”
