Sarah Rogo has had some pretty fun adventures in her life. After all, who can complain about living in San Diego, which for many reasons is known as “America’s Finest City,” and performing her fresh blues guitar music for a growing fan base across the U.S.?
Sarah Rogo has Played with Bonamassa
She’s even played with some of the heavy hitters of the blues, including Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Vivino, which she accomplished last week at Maui Sugar Mill Saloon.
But the other night at the Canyon Club belonged solely to Rogo as she received a great ovation and the love from the fans on hand at the popular Agoura Hills venue. She opened for the classic band Pablo Cruise but won over an audience that was on hand to hear the tunes.
Sarah Rogo: Originals and Covers
Rogo, a slim blonde with a spunky style and cool demeanor performed a combination of covers and originals and treated the audience to range of blues songs that didn’t only lament, as the blues often does, but also praised some of its legends.
Her originals strike the right chords. Favorites are “It’s Gonna Be Alright,” that lends inspiration to everyday life and “Born to be Blue” told from the perspective of the ocean as a powerful entity and tempestuous being.
