John Doe of X and writer Tom DeSavia have been making the rounds to discuss their new book “More Fun In The New World: The Unmaking and Legacy of L.A. Punk.”
The book came out in June.
Doe’s other project at the moment is the remake of the noir thriller “DOA. DeSavia and Doe were joined at The Grammy Museum by professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Go’s and Pleasant Gehman.
“More Fun In The New World: The Unmaking and Legacy of L.A. Punk” is the sequel to the Grammy-nominated bestseller audiobook “Under the Big Black Sun.”
The latest installment of the Doe and DeSavia work continues the personal account of the L.A. punk scene with 50 photos, and captures the movement from the viewpoint of some non-musicians as well, but those with punk attitude all the same.
