Father John Misty, Trombone Shorty and Grace Potter are the featured performers at Winnetka Music Festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The fest takes place in Winnetka’s downtown district on the North Shore on Friday and Saturday, June 19-20th, 2026.
The event by SPACE Presents and Valslist Music also showcases additional performers including Petey USA and Ben Kweller. General tickets go on sale on Friday, January 16th at 10 AM CT.
“I never imagined that what began as intimate house concerts in our living room 13 years ago, would grow into such a revered community festival,” said Val Haller, founder of Valslist and co-founder of Winnetka Music Festival. “When we launched the Winnetka Music Festival in 2017, our goal was simple: showcase top emerging artists and bring ‘downtown quality’ music to the suburbs — and ten years later, that same mission drives everything we do.
“We’re fiercely proud to be an artist-first, sustainable festival where musicians are truly cared for and audiences enjoy a carefully curated music experience in a comfortable setting,” Haller said. “Our authentic and consistent approach attracts a discerning audience that comes back every year from all over the country. Our partnership with SPACE over the past four years has helped elevate the festival’s reach and visibility.”
Festival co-founder Scott Myers said people come from all over the country for the festival because of the music and locale.
“It’s been an amazing decade of music, and we continue to be proud to showcase the charm and energy of our village to music fans from all over,” he said.
The festival takes place across four stages in downtown Winnetka, including an intimate indoor stage at the Winnetka Chapel. In addition to live music, the festival has a children’s area and an array of local food and beverage offerings.
