LOS ANGELES – US Rocker captured several wins at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards led by Alyson Camus who took home a first-place honor for her action photo of musician St. Vincent.

Paul Anka sang specially written lyrics of “My Way” — the song he famously adapted into English — in honor of the journalists and content creators on hand at the LA Press Club event in downtown Los Angeles. Anka received the LA Press Club’s Legend Award.

Marlee Matlin, sporting a svelt new look complete with a smart blonde bob, was presented the Impact Award by longtime friend Henry Winkler, who attended the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards with wife Stacey Weitzman.

Larry Mantle was honored with the Career Achievement Award, Seth and Lauren Miller Rogen were honored with the LA Press Club’s Humanitarian Award for their work fighting Alzheimer’s Disease, and Kasi Lemmons received the Distinguished Storyteller Award for her catalogue of films.

Staffers for US Rocker secured eight finalist designations and came home with several second and third-place wins in addition to Camus’ action photo first, with Sylvia Garcia Borgo taking a second place in the action photo category for her Green Day image. US Rocker creative director Mimi took home a third place in the animation category.
