The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame has put together a special video playlist to honor Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul, for African-American Music Appreciation Month.

The playlist includes a range of great moments, from Keith Richards’ 1987 induction of Franklin into the Hall of Fame to Franklin performing songs such as “Freeway of Love,” “Think,” “Don’t Play That Song,” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”

The precious moments through the years took place acroos different Rock Hall concerts and ceremonies.

Her Hall of Fame essay says Aretha Franklin was only twenty-five when she clinched the title of Lady Soul with her unforgettably proud, sexy, candid and confident 1967 version of Otis Redding’s ‘‘Respect.”

Franklin had already given notice of the sound of things to come with her first Jerry Wexler-produced single for Atlantic Records, “I Never Loved a Man (the Way l Love You),” cut at Rick Hall’s Fame Recording Studios, in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

An unforgettable talent, Franklin passed away on August 16, 2018.
