Brendan Benson has released a new single, “Good To Be Alive” accompanied by a dreamscape video that takes the viewer on a few adventures. Life is good, Benson says, and let’s not forget it.

The track is from Benson’s upcoming album Dear Life out on April 24.

There are plenty of things to do — from roller skating to fulfilling your wishes — even if for now it is only in our dreams, Benson appears to convey in the video.

The new video, directed by Ben Chappell, was shot in and around Nashville and includes some roller skating scenes shot at the Rivergate Skate Center in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Jack White touted his pal on Instagram: “Friend and Raconteur, @brendanbensonmusic’s new single ‘Good To Be Alive’ is out now,” on Third Man Records. The post was hashtagged with #GoodToBeAlive #DearLife #thirdmanrecords.
