LOS ANGELES – Rock n’ Roll Fantasy Camp took a decidedly feminine turn recently with the biggest names in rock sharing their musical knowledge with aspiring musicians and fans at the third annual Women’s Rock Camp.
The Women-Only series of the well-known Rock N Roll Fantasy Camps took place in Los Angeles, hosting 60 incredible female musicians who spent four days filled with rehearsals, masterclasses, Q&As, and jam sessions.
Rockstar mentors included Nancy Wilson of Heart, Sheila E., Lita Ford of The Runaways, Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper, Moa Munoz of Olivia Rodrigo, Eva Gardner of P!nk and many more.
Returning counselor and multi-platinum-selling artist and Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame member Wilson said that through the camp she’s able to empower women in music.
“Rock Fantasy Camp for women is a meaningful gathering of women together,” Wilson told Billboard mag. “As a military brat, I never felt constrained by my gender. Encouraging women to wield their power outside confining gender expectations is always a happy task for me.”
