“L’enfer,” the lead single of Belgian pop troubadour, Stromae’s upcoming record, Multitude, is out now.
Lead single “L’enfer” goes from piano ballad to bonafide electronic cut within seconds. Stromae’s cross-genre dexterity and undeniably catchy way of discussing heavy subject matter is evidenced on “L’enfer” (“Hell” in English). Hooker ‘N Heat, the collaborative effort between blues rock outfit Canned Heat and acclaimed Father of the Detroit Blues John Lee Hooker, is undoubtedly one of the best products of the 1960’s blues revival.

Can’s “She Brings the Rain” is a bit of furtive kraut-rock genius. Off one of Can’s more commercially viable (and aptly titled) compilation records, Soundtracks, “She Brings the Rain” is a laidback, though slightly haunting masterpiece by some of Germany’s finest.
