The Rolling Stones soldiered on, rocking out fans in Chicago during the first stop of the anticipated North American leg of the No Filter tour. The most famous living rock band played two nights in Chicago and were set to roll on to Ontario for the next big performance on June 29.
The Chicago shows took on special urgency as Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones started to make good on postponed dates. The band was forced to postpone original dates in N.A., as Jagger underwent heart surgery.

But the dynamic frontman for the longest-playing rock and roll band still together, seemed no worse for the wear, bounding across the Soldier Field stage and singing many of the band’s greatest hits.

The band opened Tuesday night with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and the setlist included “It’s Only Rock N Roll,” “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Play With Fire,” and “Sympathy for the Devil.” “Gimme Shelter” and “Satisfaction” were the encore choices.

After Ontario, the Rolling Stones follow up with a flight back East to play Washington, D.C. on the third of July, Foxboro, Mass., on July 7, then New Orleans, Jacksonville, Fl., Philadelphia, Houston and East Rutherford, N.J., before heading West. See all dates here.
The Rolling Stones play Santa Clara on Aug. 18 and The Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Aug. 22. The Stones finish out the trek Aug. 31 in Miami.
