A new fan-based video for the song “You and Me (Clubhouse Version)” has been released ahead of the compilation An American Treasure, due out Sept. 28.
The soon-to-be-released collection, is the first release of new Petty material since his passing last year.
Petty’s daughter Adria and wife Dana executive produced the compilation with Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of the Heartbreakers, along with Petty collaborator Ryan Ulyate.

“You and Me” was originally released in 2002. The new version of the song is a more mellow version of the original and draws out a more emotional response. The song is enhanced by the emotion-evoking video showing dozens of works of fan art depicting the rock star who died Oct. 2, 2017.
