ANNAPOLIS – Singer-songwriter A.J. Croce is taking his Croce Plays Croce Tour across the country, and has added 19 North American dates for this fall. The first leg of the tour kicks off on March 10, 2026 in Birmingham, AL.
Croce delivers an emotional and entertaining evening that celebrates the music of his late father Jim Croce and introduces audiences to his own original songs. He is accompanied by some of the industry’s finest musicians on stage and an A.J. Croce show is a high-energy musical journey.
Son of the legendary singer songwriter, Jim Croce, A.J. said he waited 30 years to perform his father’s music, introducing the Croce Plays Croce Tour when he felt there was a meaningful way to honor his legendary father.
Jim Croce, whose life was cut short in a 1973 plane crash, was known for storytelling hits like “Bad Bad Leroy Brown” and “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim,” as well as emotional tracks like “Operator” and “Time in a Bottle.”
At a recent concert at Ram’s Head On Stage in Annapolis, A.J., Croce impressed the sold-out house with a rousing performance, playing guitar, piano and manning the mic. In addition to the great music, the show is highlighted by amusing and unique videos played onscreen behind the performers. A.J. also honors his father – and mother, Ingrid – by incorporating heart-rending home movies into the show.
