A Jim Jarmusch film residency will take place at Zebulon Cafe during the month of April.
On April 7, “Stranger Than Paradise,” (1984) directed by Jarmusch, and shot by cinematographer Tom DiCillo, will be screened at the DTLA venue. The earliest of Jarmusch’s work, it’s a classic that was filmed in New York, Cleveland and the East Coast of Florida. Star Richard Edson will sit in for a Q and A.
On April 14, “Down by Law” will screen, the evening is presented by James Hosney; on April 21, “Mystery Train” will be presented and on April 28, Zebulon will screen “Dead Man” presented by Hosney.

There’s some buzz around Jarmusch these days, he’s got a modern zombie movie, “The Dead Don’t Die,” coming out June 14. The all-star cast includes Iggy Pop, RZA, Carol Kane, Tilda Swinton, Selena Gomez and Bill Murray along with others.
