Music Tastes Good returns to Long Beach today, Saturday, Sept. 29, through Sunday, Sept. 30.

What makes this music fest different is it’s a two-day music, food, and arts celebration, so not only are musicians the star of the show, but cuisine plays a feature role as well.

Located on Marina Green Park, along the Downtown Long Beach shore, the fest will be headlined by British New Wave band New Order on Saturday. New Order makes its only west coast appearance this year. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter James Blake headlines Sunday.

This year, the Taste Tent will have an egalitarian appeal, offering food samples to non-VIPs and well as the VIPs. The theme they’re sailing with is “Port Cities of the West Coast,” and the fest will offer everyone a chance to sample the “best coast’s” most renowned chefs and trendy food experiences.
