David Byrne will be releasing American Utopia on March 9 through Todomundo-Nonesuch and he will be touring North America and Europe to support the album.
The single that’s been released is called “Everybody’s Coming to My House,” co-written with Brian Eno and featuring Sampha, TTY, Happa Isaiah Barr and others.
Byrne will be touring with a 12-piece band to support the record. He’s committed to both Coachella weekends, with stops in San Diego, Tucson and Las Vegas.
Check out the dates and get more information at the David Byrne website.
Byrne said it will be “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense.”
American Utopia is Byrne’s first solo album since 2004’s Grown Backwards. The additional collaborators read like a who’s who of the music business including producers of some of today’s hottest performers.
