Bebe Rexha to Perform at Annual ‘GRAMMY In The Schools Live!’ Event

Bebe Rexha will perform at the annual GRAMMY In The Schools Live! event on January 23, it was announced Tuesday. The live performance is one of the many events to take place during GRAMMY Week 2020.

The event, presented by Ford Motor Company Fund, features Rexha, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated musician who will perform along with alumni of the GRAMMY education programs.

It is the seventh year that the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum will present the Music Educator Award to a deserving teaching professional to be announced.

Attendees include alumni of GRAMMY Museum education programs, Deborah Dugan, president and CEO of the Recording Academy, Michael Sticka, president of the GRAMMY Museum, and Pamela Alexander, director, community development for the Ford Motor Company Fund.

GRAMMY In The Schools Live! incorporates elements of various GRAMMY Museum Foundation education programs, including GRAMMY Camp, GRAMMY Career Day and the Music Educator Award. The programs receive support from Ford Motor Company Fund.

The Music Educator Award recognizes music educators from kindergarten through college and in public and private schools who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education.

A joint partnership and presentation of the Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Museum, this special award will be presented on the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends PBS special. The deadline to nominate a teacher for the eighth annual award is March 15.

The event takes place at Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.
