MANCHESTER, UK – Alice Cooper’s show at Manchester’s AO Arena was nothing short of a master class in rock theatrics.
At 76, Cooper proves age hasn’t dulled his sharp edge or dark charisma. With a setlist that dipped into the iconic vaults of his career, fans were swept through hits like “Poison,” “School’s Out,” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” all delivered with the intensity and flair that only he can bring.
Accompanying Cooper on the road are Nita Strauss on guitar, Glen Sobel on drums, Chuck Garric on bass, Ryan Roxie on guitar and Tommy Henrikson on guitar.
True to form, Cooper’s performance was steeped in his signature brand of shock rock. The stage was an eerie playground, alive with twisted props and spine-tingling visuals, bringing his macabre world to life. It was not just a concert, it was a theatrical spectacle, a rock horror show wrapped in impeccable musicianship.
Alice’s ability to fuse sinister theatricality with his raw musical prowess kept the show fresh, even after decades in the game. His band, tight and polished, executed each track with precision, whether it was a beloved classic or newer material.
This night was a powerful testament to Cooper’s lasting legacy, a reminder that his reign as the godfather of shock rock is far from over. An unforgettable night of rock history.
