Suede @ Albert Hall, Manchester UK – April 20th 2019

Check out the photos from UK-based music photographer Melanie Smith, who recently caught Suede, the Brit pop-rock band in Manchester, UK.

Fronted by Brett Anderson, the popular Suede played to a sold-out crowd on two consecutive nights in the unique former Methodist gathering spot, Albert Hall, in Manchester.

Suede, known in the U.S. as The London Suede, has been covered by the likes of Kim Wilde and Morrissey and has influenced scores of others. Formed in London in 1989, the band is comprised of Anderson, guitarist Richard Oakes, bass player Mat Osman, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Neil Codling and drummer Simon Gilbert. The band’s latest album is The Blue Hour.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”4″ display=”basic_thumbnail”]Smith is a respected music photographer who was on the scene to capture the visuals of this electrifying and memorable show for Louder Than War, where she is the live review editor and head of photography.
