It’s Australian rules music at Desert Daze this year as King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard joins Tame Impala and a host of other top acts at the popular music fest this October in Lake Perris, Calif.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard returns to the fest, which this year will be held at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, Calif. on Oct. 12, 13 and 14. Last year, King Gizz preceded headliner Iggy Pop in a wild and dusty free-for-all of moshers in the pit.

King Gizz, with previously announced Australia’s Tame Impala, and Brit Jarvis Cocker, top a list of major alternative acts at this year’s fest. The band’s latest album is Gumboot Soup.
