NEW HAVEN, Conn. – You may remember them from their hit “Potential Breakup Song,” or from the Disney Channel original movie, “Cow Belles” (2006), but Aly & AJ are all grown up now, and so is their music.
The pop duo put on a dazzling show at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Conn., on their “Places to Run Tour.” The tour encompassed a nationwide trek that wraps with final shows tonight in Pittsburgh and Thursday in Athens, Ohio.
At Toad’s Place, fans enjoyed an upbeat show that included a touch of twang on newer songs like “Silver Deliverer,” and “Dandelions.” Aly & AJ have gained a faithful following through the years with their well-known songs and brought the tasteful nostalgia with older hits, “Rush,” “Like Woah,” and “Chemicals React.”
To top it off, Aly & AJ performed an encore performance of their biggest hit, “Potential Breakup Song,” and the crowd went wild, enthusiastically singing along to the explicit rendition.
