Blink-182 has postponed two of its Las Vegas residency shows this weekend because drummer Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in his arms and is unable to perform.

The band is in the midst of its 16-week “Kings of the Weekend” residency at the Palms Casino’s newly refurbished Pearl Concert Theater. An announcement was issued Thursday night.

Barker has not been cleared by doctors to play the shows originally scheduled for tonight and Saturday, June 16.

“Friends Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in both arms And unfortunately cannot perform until cleared to do so by his medical team,” the band said in a statement. “The situation is being closely monitored.”

Refunds will be given to those who can’t make rescheduled dates, the band said.

“Drumming is my life and it kills me that I can’t perform for you guys this weekend,” Barker said.  “I hope to be back as soon as I can.”

The shows cover songs from the band’s 26-year career and the latest album, California, released in 2016.

Jon Gray, general manager of The Palms said the Blink-182 shows are among the most highly anticipated of the year. The Pearl Theater has undergone an estimated $500 million renovation to house big entertainment acts.

The “Kings of the Weekend” runs 16 weekends through November and the band said it will announce makeup dates for the shows.
