The Clash founding member Keith Levene who later became guitarist for Public Image Ltd, has died, it was announced.
Levene was considered one of the most influential guitarists ever. He founded The Clash with Mick Jones in the 1970s then joined Public Image Ltd with John Lydon. Levene was considered the person who got Joe Strummer to leave The 101ers, and join The Clash.
