Dropkick Murphys love the livestream and this time the Irish punkers enlisted the help of The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, to join them in Boston. It’s a good-time show, recorded on YouTube, and it’s a much needed boost for music lovers. You can watch it here.

Technically the show was clever and went off without a hitch as The Dropkick Murphys and Bruce kept their social distance — the band was in an empty stadium and Bruce was on the famous Jumbotron at Fenway Park.

Call it the new normal but The Dropkick Murphys have persisted in their quest to bring live music to the people via different technologies.

The boys enlisted Springsteen on a rendition of “Rose Tattoo” and the joined The Boss on “American Land.” Dropkick Murphys opened with “The Boys Are Back,” rifling through their best loved songs and wrapping with “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” and “Until Next Time.”

Dropkick Murphys have been making the most of the quarantine and even put on a St. Patrick’s Day show to keep their fans happy.
