Hundreds of Fall Out Boy fans clamored to get a glimpse of their favorite band at Amoeba Hollywood as the popular all-ages rock band played six songs promoting MANIA.
The new album sold at least several hundred copies out of Amoeba as part of the condition on gaining entrance to see the ever-changing “boy” band was to buy a copy of the new record. More than 700 fans attended the show, Amoeba reps said.

“We thank the fans here today and the ones that aren’t here for staying with us through the changes,” said Patrick Stump.
They played “Expensive,” “Hold Me,” “Centuries,” “Sugar,” “Uma,” and “Memories.”

“I love them and have loved them for all my life,” said Crystal Blake from Orange County. “I’ve seen them twice if you include today, the other time was at the Forum. They play good music and they’re fun.”
The band, which has 9 million Facebook followers, launches its worldwide MANIA Tour Feb. 28 in Australia, moves on to New Zealand in March, then Europe, starting with the UK on March 27, hits Japan April 24, and wraps the Asian leg of the tour with a stop in Singapore on April 30.
The North American leg of the tour kicks off Aug. 29 in Uniondale, N.Y. at the Coliseum and travels through Connecticut, New Jersey, Chicago, Ohio, Tennessee, Orlando, Texas and Tucscon before landing in California.
Fall Out Boy plays Anaheim on Sept. 29 and San Jose on Sept. 30.
