The Focke Wolves will be playing Maui Sugar Mill tonight and this band knows how to rip it up old-school punk style. They’re on the bill with the Tijuana Stranglers and Thirsty Crows.
The Focke Wolves get down — literally — with guitar players dropping to their knees and leaping on furniture to make a point. The San Diego band recently played some LA gigs and we were lucky enough to catch them supported by The Glimmer Stars at Cafe Nela.
The Focke Wolves is a cool San Diego band that keeps the joint jumpin.’ They’re punk and a whole lot more, with the guys taking the attitude that music can have a fun rythm and a melody and still be cool. We are particularly fond of this band’s style.
On vocals is Bobby Ray Octane and this guy pours it on. Great guitarists are Mickey McFaster and TK Overdrive, on bass is Eli Miller and keeping the beat on the skins is Billy D.
