Ted Russell Kamp has made it plain: He’s Going to Texas.

The popular singer-songwriter captures the collective feelings of the masses because Kamp’s latest track off the album Solitaire resonates with musical wanderlust.

“You Can Go To Hell, I’m Going To Texas” is the second single from Kamp’s new album Solitaire. He released a storytelling video to go with the song, and gets a helping hand from a range of musical pals.

Kamp co-wrote the song with Elizabeth Elkins and Vanessa Olivarez from the band Granville Automatic. The recording features Vanessa on harmony vocals, John Schreffler on pedal steel, Jim Doyle on drums and Kamp playing everything else.

The video was shot and directed by Deb Littell and some of Ted’s friends and collaborators as special guests: Pi Jacobs, Manda Mosher, Charlie Overbey and Chris Lawrence.
