Joe Sumner of The Eurphoriants delivered a special version of David Bowie’s “Changes” with singer Sharlotte Gibson.  The video comes courtesy of the California Rocker YouTube Channel and in honor of the late superstar’s recent birthday.

Sumner, who is Sting’s son, is hot off the release of his band’s self-titled debut. The Euphoriants are comprised of Scrote, Sumner, and Blair Sinta. The record was co-produced with the stellar skills of Bill Mims.

Bowie’s birthday was January 8.  He passed away on January 10, 2016. A Bowie Celebration, the tour that includes Bowie’s band members and friends, is on tour now and comes to Pasadena March 6.

California Rocker selected The Euphoriants album to its Best of 2019 list. You can read about and listen to bands on the list of the California Rocker Best Albums of 2019 here.

Sumner’s partner on Bowie’s “Changes,” Gibson, is a renowned songstress, having toured with a host of superstars including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. Sumner and Gibson came together during an event for Viva Con Agua put on by Grammy-nominated duo Malte Hagemeister and Kristian Nord of CaliforniaMusic.com.
