Roxy Music was centered around Bryan Ferry and bassist Graham Simpson with Phil Manzanera on guitar, Andy Mackay on sax and Paul Thompson with synthesizer specialists Brian Eno, Eddie Jobson and John Gustafson on bass.

Rundgren is one of music’s unheralded innovators as songwriter and performer.  He has had hit commercial radio singles like “Hello It’s Me,” and the later “Bang on the Drum,” but his producer credits range from Meatloaf’s Bat Out of Hell to recent work with The Lemon Twigs and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine Return to the Ballot

Radiohead, MC5, The Zombies and Rage Against the Machine make their second appearance on the ballot.

Kraftwerk and LL Cool J make their fifth appearance on the ballot, it’s the fourth time for the Zombies, the third time for Janet Jackson and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, and The Cure gets their second chance to be voted in.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation Nominating Committee selects the group of musicians nominated. Ballots are sent to roughly 900 members of the music business, musicians and historians, as well as all living Rock Hall inductees. The five performers who get the most votes are in the induction class.

The Voting Deadline is Dec. 9, 11:59 P.M. EST

The top five vote-getters in the public poll form one ballot, which is weighted the same as the rest of the submitted ballots.

Fans get a voice and can vote on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s website.

If you go to Cleveland you can make a selection at an interactive kiosk. Some pre-sale tickets for the 2019 Induction Ceremony will be available for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame donors and members in advance of the public sale.

To be eligible for the member pre-sale opportunity, join or renew your Rock Hall membership online or by phone (216) 515-8425 by Dec. 31, 2018.
