Tame Impala Tops Desert Daze Fest in New Location: Lake Perris

Aussie psych rockers Tame Impala will headline Desert Daze 2018 at a new location: Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, Calif., it was announced Wednesday.

The lineup for the Oct. 12-14 weekend also includes White Fence; Mercury Rev; Warpaint; Chelsea Wolfe; and King Khan and The Shrines. There will be a “Phase II” announcement, festival organizers say.

2018 Tickets On Sale Friday at Desertdaze.org

Moreno Beach in Lake Perris is located between the San Jacinto and San Bernardino mountains in Moreno Valley and the new location features a beautiful lake, wildlife, desert and coastal sagebrush, and cacti.

RV and tent camping will be available in state park facilities. “Real showers” and “real restrooms” with RV power hookups are also available, as noted by festival organizers.

There are other amenities including an “Italian-style” beach club with lounging, swimming, sunbathing and boat rides.

General Admission and VIP pass options go on sale Friday, March 30 at 10am Pacific Standard Time through  DesertDaze.org .

Visitor (or General Admission passes) start at $249. Camping and camping rentals will also be available for purchase through a new user platform via Eventbrite.
