“Brian Wilson: Live at the Roxy Theatre (25th Anniversary Edition)” is out now via Oglio Records—the first official Brian Wilson release since his passing on June 11, 2025.
Captured over two sold-out nights in April 2000 at West Hollywood’s legendary Roxy Theatre, the newly expanded collection celebrates Wilson’s luminous late-career return to the stage—available now on vinyl for the first time as a 3LP box set, alongside 2CD and digital editions.
Originally released in 2000 as Wilson’s first-ever live solo album, “Live at the Roxy Theatre” finds the Beach Boys co-founder performing classics like “California Girls,” “Surfer Girl,” “I Get Around,” and “Good Vibrations,” alongside latter-day originals including “The First Time” and “This Isn’t Love.”
Backed by a 10-piece band comprised of Bob Lizik, Probyn Gregory, Darian Sahanaja, Paul Mertens, Nick Wlusko, Jeff Foskett, and more, Wilson’s warmth and humor shine through.
The new 25th Anniversary Edition expands that landmark moment with never-before-heard performances and tour recordings (2000–2009), produced by longtime collaborator Mark Linett and Oglio Records founder Carl Caprioglio, with new liner notes by David Leaf tracing how those Roxy shows sparked Wilson’s creative renaissance.
“With Brian’s passing this year, this edition isn’t just a reissue—it’s a heartfelt tribute to his artistry, his kindness, and the timeless music he shared with us,” Caprioglio said.
