Randy Travis has released a never-before-heard single “Fool’s Love Affair.”
It is the first newly discovered single by Travis since his 2013 stroke. It is released on the 35th anniversary of Travis’ first radio single, “On The Other Hand.”
“Fool’s Love Affair” was stuck in storage until one of the writers, Charlie Monk, discovered it and sent it to Travis and producer Kyle Lehning to bring it up to 2020 standards.
Country fans have long awaited the chance to hear the Country Music Hall of Famer’s voice on a new song.
Travis made a mark on county music in the mid-1980s with “On The Other Hand,” “1982,” “Forever and Ever, Amen” and more.
“Fool’s Love Affair” was produced by Kyle Lehning and written by Keith Stegall, Charlie Monk and Milton Brown.
