Perhaps you’ve seen the Broadway musical “Jersey Boys,” and you may have even seen the movie, but have you experienced an actual Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons concert?

Valli’s still in top singing form, hitting those impossibly high notes and he will appear in person in Southern California to do just that. Valli and his Four Seasons will be making two appearances Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.

It’s not that Valli has been out of the scene. After all, in addition to singing, over the years he’s taken an acting turn or two, even playing a mafia boss on “The Sopranos.”

But for two nights in SoCal, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons promise to bring back fond memories with hits like “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Bye Bye Baby,” “Sherry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

The Four Seasons were formed in 1960 and Valli, of course, was the lead singer. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

And while people may remember the Four Seasons, Valli is the sole original member of the group to tour. The band Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is the subject of the Tony Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys.”

And while “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” if this opportunity is missed, you might just find yourself reaching for the handkerchief.
