Le Butcherettes take on a mystical appearance in the haunting new video for the single “give/UP” directed by Gus Black.
The single “give/UP” is from Le Butcherettes’ innovative new album bi/MENTAL.
California Rocker got a glimpse behind the scenes on the locations for the music video shoot for “give/UP,” which took place around Los Angeles and in the desert.
Le Butcherettes who are beloved in both English and Spanish, are Teri Gender Bender, Riko Rodriguez Lopez, Alejandra Robles-Luna and Marfred Rodriguez Lopez. In the video, Marfred has a stand-in in the form of a looming grey mannequin in army clothes.
Let Butcherettes will be on KPFK tonight at 10 p.m.
