X had a busy weekend headlining the three-day Topanga Days festival on Sunday before scooting off to Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas for its Monday gig.
The Southern California punk rock group which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year to much fanfare, including a GRAMMY Museum exhibit, brought its classic songs and great players to the locals.

X features the talents of John Doe on bass and vocals, Exene Cervenka on vocals, Billy Zoom on guitar and sax and D.J. Bonebrake on drums. Additional bands playing at Topanga Days were Bleach, Watchermoon, Kummerspeck Tom Petty Tribute, Pearl; Pacific Range, Paintbox, FNTN, Backseat Pilots, Milo Greene; Flag, Anthem and Speech, Afrolicious, Venice, Breakestra and Mestizo Beat.
