Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones got satisfaction when he recently sold his luxury New York City penthouse for $9.995 million.
Richards and wife Patti Hansen originally listed the Fifth Avenue apartment for $11.995 million. Richards was on the road with The Rolling Stones and played Warsaw when the decision was made to accept the offer.

The $9.995 million is slightly below the $10.5 million Richards paid for the home in 2014.
The grand apartment in The Big Apple has a range of amenities. The master suite has two walk-in closets, and three private terraces in the home give views of Washington Square Park and the city.
The multi-story casa was completely renovated in 2011 and it features special touches like an air purification system and grand staircase with a “leather-wrapped bronze handrail.”
Note that Richards’ home has a wall that supports his belief: “You’re Never too Young to Rock and Roll” is painted on one of the bedroom walls.
