My Morning Jacket, Little Feat and a Bob Weir Celebration are the highlights for Sunday’s music at the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, N.Y.
Long Island’s longest running outdoor fest which celebrates its 18th year this weekend, features a diverse selection of performers over several stages and brings the art, culture and music to Shorefront Park.
Saturday’s lineup is topped by Gov’t Mule and Bruce Hornsby with additional performers including Sierra Hull, LaMP, Kerry Kearney’s Cajun Review and Allmost Brothers.
James has a solo album on the horizon called “Wowed Out,” expected in late August.
Little Feat is on the road for The Last Farewell Tour, a massive trek which takes the beloved rockers from the East Coast to Southern California, Nashville and throughout the Midwest. The band is making a special appearance at The Great South Bay Music Festival.
Little Feat’s latest album is “Strike Up The Band.”
