Southern California genre-blenders zebrahead return at full throttle with their new single and a lyric video, “Smoke Signals From My Couch.” The track serves as the latest preview of their forthcoming EP “O,” the final installment in a conceptual series that includes III, II, I, and now “O,” bringing the band’s multi-release arc full circle.

A high-energy fusion of ska, punk, and metal, “Smoke Signals From My Couch” delivers breakneck drums, massive hooks, and the band’s signature hybrid of melody and aggression.

The track was recorded with producers Kyle Black (State Champs, Pierce The Veil) and Paul Miner (Death By Stereo, New Found Glory), and features a standout horn section from members of Reel Big Fish, Ice Nine Kills, and Goldfinger, featuring Matt Appleton – Tenor Saxophone, John Christianson– Trumpet, and Dan Regan – Trombone.

“‘Smoke Signals From My Couch’ is a song about realizing that you don’t need to waste your time on people who don’t understand or support you,” said vocalist/rapper Ali Tabatabaee. “It’s about being yourself, recognizing your worth, and knowing you don’t need anyone else’s approval to belong.”

Drummer Ed Udhus said “If you like metal, punk, ska, and getting high on the couch, this is the song for you.”

In addition to Tabatabaee and Uhdus, zebrahead is Adrian Estrella (vocals/guitar), Dan Palmer (guitar), and Ben Osmundson (bass).

The band continues to evolve while staying rooted in the high-energy sound that built their global fanbase. With decades of relentless touring, the band remains a staple across international festival circuits and sold-out headline runs.
