Tame Impala put on fan-tastic shows at Pechanga Arena in San Diego and The Forum in Inglewood, including a personalized cover of Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” in Kevin Parker style.

The fans captured the psychedelic Southern California performances of Tame Impala on The Slow Rush Tour.

Health warnings did not keep thousands of fans from seeing their adored Parker and his crew, whose tour was welcomed to the Golden State in a big way. The album Slow Rush was released last month.  The show in San Francisco which was scheduled for March 13 was canceled.

Instagram user Octolondo also captured the Tame Impala hit “Lost in Yesterday,” the shuffling easygoing track off The Slow Rush, released last month.

The social media comments ranged from adoration to admiration for everything from the band’s musical talents to the sets.

On the night before at Pechanga Arena, the band drew equally well with backgrounds that ranged from mystically psychedelic to happily pastel with swirling shapes and positive vibes.

Instagram user Nina Colleen discovered what it’s like to “feel like a brand new person” capturing Tame Impala’s live version of “New Person, Same Old Mistakes” from 2015.
