Vintage Trouble, roots band My Baby, The Cole Williams Band, and Thumpasaurus will bring rock and funk to the Joshua Tree Music Festival, May 16-19 at Joshua Tree Lake RV and Campground.

Also featured are psychedelic synth-soul band Night Glitter; Loulou Ghelichkhani’s (Thievery Corporation) new project, dancefloor masters Dynohunter, renowned Berlin-based DJ Oliver Koletzki, Japanese avant-garde rock band Dachambo, Toronto based soul-funkers, After Funk; and recent ‘Best New Austin Band’ winners, Trouble In The Streets.

The Joshua Tree Music Festival is known for hosting a variety of musical artists of different genres. 

“We aim to deliver a truly diverse, well-rounded line-up; one you won’t see at other festivals. A lot of these artists are on the rise. They’re hungry, hustling and honing their craft; creating unique, progressive sounds,” said festival founder Barnett English.

Joshua Tree boasts a rich, thick, burgeoning music scene. Local favorites gracing the stage include: .  Gene Evaro Jr, Desert Rhythm Project, Myshkin Warbler, The Amritakripa Band, Gabriella Evaro, The Adobe Collective, DEGA, and Megan Hutch who all make their homes in the high desert.

Also on the lineup: Earth Arrow, Diggin Dirt, Smoked Out Soul,, Baraka Moon, Radio Skies, Revel in Dimes, Moontricks, Youssoupha Sidibe, City of Trees Brass Band, Sahba Motallebi, Jesus Gonzalez, Beats & Rhymes and Subko. 

The JTMF experience features several multidisciplinary musical, movement, and spiritual workshops. Yoga classes are held from sunrise to sunset. A diverse selection of vendors can be found in the World Market. Attendees can enjoy a range of bodywork and healing services at the JTMF Healing Oasis. Art is featured throughout the festival grounds via live painting, art installations and more. Numerous food options are available on-site. An action packed Kidsville provides all-day activities and entertainment for the younger attendees, and places JTMF among the leading family-friendly festivals in the USA.
