Beck, Dave Grohl, Among Musicians to Honor Songwriter Greg Kurstin with ASCAP Award

Songwriter and producer Greg Kurstin was honored with the Golden Note Award and kicked off the 2021 ASCAP Experience in  conversation with his collaborator and friend Dave Grohl.

Kurstin was presented with the ASCAP Golden Note Award by Beck and ASCAP President and Chairman Paul Williams. ASCAP is The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, a not-for-profit performance-rights organization.

“I’m super honored about this award,” Kurstin said. “This is amazing and it’s incredible to see the people who have won the award and be a part of this list.”

Previous recipients include Blondie, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Trent Reznor, Alicia Keys, Tom Petty and more.
