The suit-sporting, bike-pedalling, kidlike character came to the big screen in 1985 on the heels of the popularity of Reubens’ TV show “Pee-wee’s Playhouse.” It was Burton’s first full-length feature and had music by Danny Elfman. The movie was co-written by actor-writer Paul Reubens, who will talk about the  making of the film. after each screening.
