Play With Fire has caught on with fans on the West Side.

The band that blends Rock N Roll with Blues and Funk recently released its self-titled EP that has some catchy dance tunes.

With their infectious songs like “Crime Of The Century” and “Do It For Money,” the band led by frontman Mark McKinniss has been steadily gaining fans all over LA, but particularly on the West Side, where the gigs happen.

“We’re just a group of musicians who enjoy playing music and hanging out together,” said McKinniss. “It’s a good group of people.”

In addition to McKinniss who plays keyboards and has a great voice, players include Tommy Tequila on guitar and vocals, Matt Bragg on bass and Billy DiBlasi on drums. Occasionally the band gets backup vocals from McKinniss’ daughter, Kaylie, Carol Casey and Randi Douglas.
