Cut Chemist, the DJ for Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, has released a new video for the track “Moonlightin’ with Biz featuring Biz Markie.”
“Moonlightin’ with Biz featuring Biz Markie” appears on Cut Chemist’s sophomore full-length Die Cut.
Directed by Joseph Armario, the video is the first of four videos set to be released in a partnership with Apple Music on consecutive Fridays.

‘Die Cut’ a Restorative Outlet For Cut Chemist
Die Cut embodies a reawakening for Cut Chemist. His first album in almost 10 years, the record was a restorative outlet for the legendary DJ as he dealt with the death of his father.
Cut Chemist had a 30-day stint in jail after a DUI and a string of untimely losses. Coming out of self-imposed isolation, Cut Chemist used Die Cut as a project through which he could surround himself with a network of live musicians, including Deantoni Parks (The Mars Volta), Biz Markie, actress Erika Christensen (Parenthood), tune-yards, Farmer Dave Scher, Dexter Story.
