Moon Honey, Fishbone, Alice Bag to Play Levitt Pavilion Summer Concerts

Moon Honey, Fishbone and Alice Bag are among the performers at this year’s Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series, which runs June 9 through Sept. 2.

Fishbone (June 29), which boasts its original band members, is among the first acts in this year’s lineup that also includes the popular and artistic alternative band Moon Honey (June 14) and the queen of activist punk rock, Alice Bag (Aug. 30).

Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich + Fussible

The 2018 concert season opens Saturday, June 9 with Mexican electronic/norteña act Nortec Collective presents: Bostich + Fussible; followed by a stacked roster featuring reggae acts Alika + Quinto Sol (June 15) and Radiotron’s 35th Anniversary (June 23).

Also featured are GRAMMY-winning cumbia legend Celso Piña (July 7), Fourth of July Celebration plus fireworks with Sonora Dinamita con Vilma Diaz (June 30), Southern rock crooner Paul Thorn and GRAMMY-winning gospel icons Blind Boys of Alabama (July 14).

Marionettes, Boogaloo Assassins, Flor De Toloache

There’s also LA’s beloved puppet show, the Bob Baker Marionette Theater (July 15),  the salsa and Latin R&B sounds of Boogaloo Assassins (August 4), GRAMMY-winning Latin woke-folk act Quetzal (August 10), ‘dirty reggae’ pioneers The Aggrolites (August 11), hip-hop and jazz collective Church in the Park (August 24), all-female mariachi GRAMMY winners Flor De Toloache (August 25), and the late and great Celia Cruz’s west coast band Havana Secret (September 2).

More Parking – Levitt has teamed with four parking lots, each located less than two blocks away from Levitt LA, that will stay open late every night during the concert season. Levitt LA is also fully acessible by Metro rail and bus lines!
