Eric Clapton Interview: ‘I’m Going Deaf’

By JOHN DALY

Eric Clapton told BBC2 that at the ripe age of 73 he’s losing his hearing.

“I’m going deaf, I’ve got tinnitus, my hands just about work,” he told the BBC in promoting his new film. “I’m hoping that people will come along and see me just because, or maybe more than because I’m a curiosity. I know that is part of it, cause it’s amazing to myself I’m still here.”

The new documentary about Clapton is called Eric Clapton: Life In 12 Bars
